Mini Châteaux Parc in Amboise

I visited the Mini-Chateaux Park last week with two very fun California ladies.  I had heard of the park but shrugged it off.  And I was wrong to do so!  What an incredible find, even if you have or haven’t seen the real chateaux.  Both Susan and Linda are miniature artists so their fascination in all things small is not surprising.  The park is about 1.5 kilometers of walking, there are 2000 pruned bonsai trees, it took 50 artists/model makers to construct the chateaux and they are built in 1/25 scale. The grounds are perfectly manicured and maintained and there are rides and fun things for children too.  If you go by train, make sure you order a taxi IN ADVANCE to take you to and from (we went to/from Amboise).  They do not have shuttle service.
